Big Chief is a California vape cartridge brand, and at Evergreen it is a cartridge brand only. Seven SKUs sit on our shelf right now, every one of them a 1g 510-thread cart. No flower, no edibles, no disposables.
The strain list tells you who the brand is aimed at. Cherry Pie, Girl Scout Cookies, Sour Diesel, White Widow, Pineapple Express, Jack Herer. Those are heritage names, most of them older than the legal market itself. You are not being sold a limited drop with a made-up name and a two-week shelf life. You are being sold the classics in a format you can put in your pocket.
That is the whole pitch, and it is an honest one. If you want novelty, this is not the brand. If you want a familiar strain in a cart without paying a premium for hype, it is.
A cartridge price comes down to what is inside the tank and what the tank is made of.
Big Chief sits in the value-to-midrange band, and the honest reason is the oil. Distillate-based carts cost less to produce than live resin or rosin, because the starting material is cheaper and the process strips more of the plant away before the flavor is added back. That is not a knock. It is a trade you may want to make.
What you get for it is consistency. Distillate behaves the same way in December that it did in June, it does not separate in a hot car the way some live products do, and the draw is even from first pull to last. What you give up is the terpene complexity you would get from a juice-cured or rosin cart, which is why brands like COLDFIRE and Pistil Whip sit further up our shelf and further up the price list.
Buy Big Chief for reliability at a fair number. Buy the resin brands when you want the flavor to be the point.
One line, seven strains, one format.
Every Big Chief we carry is a 1g cartridge on a standard 510 thread, which means it screws onto any 510 battery you already own. If you do not own one, the counter can sell you a battery for less than the cart costs. Dime keeps a 5th-gen 510 battery in stock and it works fine here.
There is no 0.5g option, no all-in-one disposable, and no flower under this label at Evergreen. If you want a self-contained device instead of a cart plus battery, look at Dime Industries or CAM, both of which run all-in-ones on our shelf.
Stock rotates. Seven strains is what we have today, not a permanent catalog, and individual strains sell out faster than the brand does. The live menu is read from our register, so it is the only accurate answer on what is here right now.
Cherry Pie, Girl Scout Cookies, Sour Diesel, White Widow, Pineapple Express, Jack Herer and Napalm OG. Six of those seven are decades-old genetics, which is the point of the lineup rather than an accident of it.
Start with the strain family, then check the label.
Sour Diesel, Jack Herer and Pineapple Express lean toward the daytime end of the shelf. Cherry Pie and Napalm OG sit heavier. Girl Scout Cookies and White Widow land in between. These are tendencies, not guarantees, and the same cart can read differently depending on your tolerance, what you ate and how much you took.
Then do the part most people skip. Every legal cartridge in California carries a lab panel showing cannabinoid content and a batch number. Read it. If a cart in front of you has no panel, no batch number and no license information on the box, it did not come through licensed distribution, and you should not be buying it anywhere.
Ask the budtender to show you the panel. If a shop will not, that tells you something.
Cartridges are more forgiving than flower, but they are not indestructible.
Store it upright. A cart left on its side for a week can leak around the mouthpiece and flood the airway, which is the most common reason a new cart pulls badly. Keep it out of a hot car. Heat thins the oil, and thin oil leaks and floods for the same reason.
Room temperature and out of direct sun is enough. No fridge, no freezer. Cold oil clogs, and clearing a clog usually means overheating the coil to fix it, which costs you flavor for the rest of the tank.
Draw gently. Cartridges reward a slow pull and punish a hard one.

That matters more with vape hardware than with almost anything else you can buy. Empty branded cartridge packaging is sold openly online, which means counterfeit carts in real-looking boxes exist for most well-known vape brands, this one included. A licensed dispensary receipt and an intact batch number are how you rule that out. Buy anywhere that cannot produce both and you have no idea what is in the tank.
