Big Pete’s Treats is a baked-goods brand first, which makes it unusual on a shelf where nearly every edible is a gummy. Four SKUs here.
Chocolate Chip Cookies in a 100mg 10-pack, in both a sativa and an indica version. A Fruity Blast Crispy Marshmallow Treat at 100mg in a 10-count. And one gummy, Sour Watermelon Fast-Acting Rosin Gummy Belts at 100mg in a 2-pack.
Two things stand out. Selling the same cookie in sativa and indica versions is a level of distinction most edible brands do not bother with. And the gummy belts are rosin-infused and fast-acting, which is a different proposition from the cookies entirely.
Baked goods are harder to dose evenly than gummies, and that is where the money goes.
A gummy is poured into a mold at a fixed volume. A cookie is dough that has to be mixed so the cannabinoid is distributed evenly, then portioned, then baked without hot spots. Getting ten cookies from one batch to each carry the same 10mg is genuinely harder than getting ten gummies to.
The rosin gummy belts sit differently again. Rosin is solventless and expensive, and fast-acting formulations use an emulsion designed to be absorbed more quickly than something you digest.
The honest limitation is the 2-pack on those belts. 100mg across two pieces is 50mg each, which is a large dose. Most people should not eat one in a sitting. That is not a criticism of the product, it is a warning about the format, and it is why the cookies at 10mg a piece are the better starting point in this line.

Do the arithmetic before you pick the flavor, because the two formats here are not the same dose.
The cookies and the marshmallow treat are 10mg a piece across ten pieces. That is a sensible edible dose and a half is a sensible starting one.
The gummy belts are 50mg a piece across two. That is five times the dose in one item. If you buy those, cut a belt into quarters and start with one.
Then wait two full hours regardless of which you chose. Edibles are slow and taking more at ninety minutes is how this category goes wrong. The fast-acting belts may come on sooner, but sooner is not instant and the same patience applies.
Sativa and indica on the cookies point at tendencies rather than guarantees.
Baked goods have a shorter useful life than gummies, and that is worth planning around.
Keep the cookies and the marshmallow treat in the original child-resistant packaging, sealed, somewhere cool and dark. They go stale like ordinary baked goods do, and a stale cookie is still a 10mg cookie but a worse experience.
The packaging matters more here than almost anywhere. A cannabis chocolate chip cookie is visually a chocolate chip cookie. Do not decant these into a jar on the counter.
The gummy belts keep longer but want the same treatment: cool, dark, sealed, in their own packaging.
No fridge unless a pack says so, because condensation ruins texture on both formats.

Baked goods deserve extra attention on labeling for an obvious reason: they look exactly like food. California requires the total milligrams, the milligrams per piece and the licensed manufacturer to be printed. If any of the three is missing, it did not come through a legal channel, and that is not a detail to shrug at with a product someone could eat by accident.
On the rosin gummy belts, the panel should also show no residual solvents, which is what backs the solventless claim.
