Four lines, each doing something different. Prices sit on the live menu rather than here, because they move with every drop and a stale number helps nobody.
KushCompany keeps a small, coherent shelf here: one flower cut and two pre-rolls, three SKUs total.
Sour Power OG as flower, and pre-rolls on both Sour Power OG and KushCo OG.
The overlap is the useful part. Sour Power OG exists here as a jar and as a pre-roll, which means you can spend a few dollars on the pre-roll to find out whether you want the eighth. Very few brands on our wall give you that, and it is the cheapest way to shop flower sensibly.
Both names point at the OG family rather than at dessert crosses, which tells you where this label sits on a shelf full of candy naming.
OG-family flower is a different proposition from the modern exotics next to it, and the pricing usually reflects that.
These are older genetics that have been grown in California for decades. They are well understood, they grow predictably, and they do not carry the scarcity premium that a limited dessert cut does. What you are paying for is the growing rather than the novelty.
The pre-rolls being rolled from the same named cuts rather than from trim is worth something too. A lot of pre-rolls anywhere are made from the offcuts of a trim run, and one rolled from the flower on the shelf beside it is a genuinely different product at a similar price.
The honest limitation is choice. Three SKUs and two of them the same strain family means this is a label you check for rather than browse. If you want variety in one house, Teds Budz runs ten cuts on our shelf.
Three SKUs across two formats.
Flower: Sour Power OG, Big Buds.
Pre-rolls: Sour Power OG and KushCo OG.
No larger flower sizes, no vapes, no edibles and no concentrates under this label at Evergreen.
If you want the OG family in other formats, Big Chief runs a Napalm OG cartridge, Sluggers Hit rolls a Legend OG blunt and a Fire OG glass-tip, and Dime keeps a Blackberry OG all-in-one. If you want to buy an OG cut in quantity, CAM and West Coast Cure both run larger flower sizes.
Sour Power OG as flower and as a pre-roll, plus KushCo OG as a pre-roll.
Buy the pre-roll first. That is the whole recommendation with this label.
A 1g pre-roll of Sour Power OG costs a fraction of the eighth and comes from the same cut. If you like it, come back for the jar. If you do not, you have spent very little finding out.
OG-family strains tend toward the heavier end, though that is a tendency rather than a promise and your tolerance does most of the work.
If you go for the jar, ask to see it and ask when it was packaged. Good indoor flower reads frosted rather than dull and holds its shape when handled. The packaged-on date is a more useful number than the THC percentage on the label.
Store the pre-roll somewhere it will not get crushed. A bent pre-roll draws badly and there is no fixing it.
Jar and pre-roll want the same conditions and slightly different care.
The jar goes sealed, dark and room temperature. A cupboard rather than a windowsill. Open it as little as you can, because every opening exchanges the air inside and air is what takes the aroma.
No fridge and no freezer. Condensation invites mold and frozen trichomes shear off the moment you touch the bud.
A 62% RH humidity pack costs a couple of dollars and keeps an eighth from going brittle.
The pre-rolls stay in their tube, out of a pocket where they can be crushed, and out of the sun.
We are a licensed Proposition 64 retailer on Edinger Avenue in Santa Ana. All three KushCompany products here came through licensed California distribution with a lab panel and a batch number.
The question worth asking on flower is when it was packaged. Flower loses aroma before it loses potency, so a jar that has sat in distribution can test perfectly well and still smoke flat. Ask us which batch landed most recently. Ask anywhere else too, and treat an inability to answer as its own answer.
Our prices are out-the-door, so the menu number is the register number. We open at 6AM, we deliver across Orange County, and the live menu reads from our register rather than a third-party feed.
The live menu shows what is physically in the store right now, with out-the-door pricing on every item.
