Mountain Man Melts is a solventless hash label, and its footprint at Evergreen is deliberately narrow: Rainbow Guava live rosin, plus a pair of half-gram disposable vapes that appear and disappear.
Solventless is the identity. It means the oil was separated using ice, water, heat and pressure rather than a chemical solvent, so there is nothing introduced that has to be purged back out afterwards.
Small labels in this category tend to be small on purpose. Pressing rosin well does not scale easily, and the material has to be good enough to be worth pressing at all. A short list is often a sign of selectivity rather than a lack of ambition.
Check the live menu before making the trip. With a label this size, availability is genuinely week to week.
Live rosin is the most expensive thing on any dispensary wall, and the cost is structural rather than positioning.
It begins with fresh-frozen flower, harvested and frozen immediately rather than dried and cured. The grower gives up the ability to sell that material as flower, which prices it before extraction starts. Then the yield is low: a lot of input produces a little rosin.
Because no solvent is involved, there is nowhere for poor starting material to hide. Solvent extraction can rescue mediocre flower. Pressing cannot. What goes in is what comes out, concentrated.
The honest trade-off is stability. Rosin changes texture with temperature, degrades faster than distillate, and is the least forgiving product in the case if you store it carelessly. If you want something that behaves identically in six months, this is the wrong shelf and the distillate carts are the right one.
A short list, and we would rather say so than pad it.

If you have one, the decision is about temperature more than about strain. Low is the whole game with rosin. Dab it hot and you burn off exactly the aromatic compounds that justified the price, which is the single most common way people waste good hash. Start lower than feels right and work up.

Read the panel, and on anything sold as solventless specifically check the residual solvent result. It should show none, because none were used. A solventless label with solvents on the panel is a label doing work the process did not.

Keep badder in the fridge, sealed, and let the container come to room temperature before opening it. Opening a cold jar in a warm room puts condensation straight onto the rosin, which is the fastest way to ruin it.
Keep it dark. Light degrades terpenes faster than most people expect.
Use it sooner rather than later. Rosin does not improve with age and it is the product most obviously worse six months on. Buying ahead is a false economy in this category.
If you have the disposables instead, treat those like any vape: upright, room temperature, gentle draw at the lowest setting.
