Not Your Father’s makes cannabis sodas, and at Evergreen it is the largest-format drink we carry. Five SKUs, all 16oz, all 100mg.
Root Beer, Cherry Cola, Orange Cream Soda, Fruit Punch, and Alpine Splash, which adds caffeine alongside the THC.
The 16oz size is the point of the brand. The same 100mg that ST IDES puts into a 4oz shot is spread here across a full can, which makes it far easier to drink a measured amount and far harder to accidentally take a large dose in two swallows. If you have ever found edibles hard to control, the format is doing real work for you.
The flavors are soda-shop rather than wellness. Root beer and cream soda are exactly what they sound like.
The manufacturing problem in cannabis drinks is emulsion, and that is most of what you pay for.
Cannabis oil does not dissolve in water. Getting it evenly suspended, keeping it suspended on a shelf for months, and stopping it from tasting like plant matter is the hard part. A drink that separates gives you a weak first pour and a strong last one from the same can, which is the usual reason a drink lands unpredictably.
Carbonation adds a second problem, because bubbles and emulsions do not naturally get along. Doing it in a 16oz can rather than a small shot means the emulsion has to hold across a much larger volume.
The honest limitation is the format itself. A 16oz can is hard to reseal and awkward to save. If you only want 10mg, you are opening a container holding ten times that and committing to storing the rest properly. The smaller formats on our shelf handle partial doses better.
Five sodas, one size, no other formats.
Root Beer, Cherry Cola, Orange Cream Soda and Fruit Punch are straight 100mg THC in 16oz. Alpine Splash is the outlier: 100mg THC plus caffeine, which is a formulation choice rather than a claim about what it will do for you.
There is no flower, no vape and no gummy under this label at Evergreen.
If the 16oz format is more than you want, Uncle Arnies runs 100mg in 8oz and 12oz on our shelf, both carbonated and still, and ST IDES runs 100mg in a 4oz shot. Same total dose, different amounts of liquid to get through.

Choose by how you plan to drink it and by whether you want caffeine in the mix.
If you want to nurse one over an evening, this is the right format on our shelf. If you want a small controlled amount and nothing left over, buy a smaller bottle from another brand here instead.
Alpine Splash deserves a specific thought. Combining THC and caffeine is a personal-tolerance question, and if you have not had both together before, this is not the can to find out on at 100mg. Start with one of the other four.
Start low regardless. For most people an unfamiliar drink is a 5mg to 10mg starting point, which is a small pour from a can this size. Wait two full hours before taking more. Redosing too early is the most common way this category goes wrong, and it is almost always the person rather than the product.
Treat it like a soda that needs respecting.
Shake gently before pouring, every time. Emulsions settle on a shelf, and an unshaken can does not deliver its dose evenly from first pour to last.
Refrigerate after opening and finish it inside a couple of days. A 16oz can is hard to reseal, so decant what you are not drinking into something with a lid rather than leaving it open in the fridge door.
Keep it out of heat and direct light, which degrade cannabinoids in liquid faster than in flower.
The obvious one, because the packaging invites it: this looks like a soft drink. Keep it well away from anywhere someone could grab it without reading the label.

Drinks are the category where labeling does the most work, so check that the total milligrams, the serving size and the licensed manufacturer are printed rather than implied. California requires all three. A cannabis soda missing them did not come through a legal channel, and the resemblance to ordinary soft drinks is exactly why that matters.
