Preferred Gardens is a flower house, and at Evergreen it is flower only. Four SKUs across two strains and two packaging types.
Chanel comes in a 3.5g bag and a 14g jar. Blue Sherb comes in a 14g jar. Durban Poison comes as Big Buds in 3.5g.
Carrying Chanel in both a small bag and a large jar is the useful part. You can try an eighth and, if it suits you, buy the half ounce of the same cut. Very few brands on our wall let you do that, and it is the sensible way to buy flower.
Durban Poison is the outlier here, a long-established sativa rather than a modern dessert cross.
Flower pricing comes down to how it was grown and how it was packed.
Indoor growing means light, temperature and humidity are controlled rather than weathered, and that control is most of the cost before harvest. It is what produces density and an aroma that survives weeks in storage.
Bag versus jar is not just packaging. A jar protects trichomes better than a bag does, because bud in a bag gets compressed and handled through the plastic. The 3.5g Chanel comes in a bag and the 14g comes in a jar, which is worth knowing when you compare them.
The honest limitation is size risk. A 14g is better value per gram and only better value in practice if you finish it while it is still good. Half an ounce that sits half-full for four months has lost most of what you paid for. Buy the eighth first, then commit.

Chanel is the only cut you can do that with here, which makes it the obvious first purchase. Blue Sherb is a 14g leap of faith unless you already know the strain from somewhere else.
Durban Poison sits at the daytime end of the shelf and is one of the more predictable sativas in cannabis, which makes it a reasonable pick if you want something familiar. Chanel and Blue Sherb read sweeter and heavier. Tendencies, not guarantees.
Ask to see the jar and ask when it was packaged before you commit to any 14g. Good flower looks frosted rather than dull and springs back rather than crumbling. On a half ounce those two checks matter more than the THC figure by a wide margin.
The 14g jars are where storage actually decides whether you got value.
Split it. Keep a few days’ worth in a small container and leave the main jar sealed. Every opening exchanges the air inside, and a jar opened twice a day ages far faster than one opened weekly.
Glass, sealed, dark, room temperature. A cupboard rather than a windowsill. No fridge and no freezer, because condensation invites mold and frozen trichomes shear off at a touch.
A humidity pack at around 62% RH is a couple of dollars and is worth several times that on a 14g.
